The Garretson Commercial Club has got some cool projects in the works right now. We are looking to get a new sound system up and running for downtown Garretson and to start pricing a new electronic sign for Highway 11.
We’re proud to announce that the Commercial Club is raffling off a brand-new Trek Verve +2 Electric Hybrid bike (a $3,000) value. This raffle will be $50 per ticket with only 150 tickets to be sold. The bike is currently on display at First Bank & Trust.

I’d heard about these machines, but never got to ride one until after the Commercial Club proposed shopping for one for this raffle. Let me tell you, riding one uphill on Minnesota Avenue in Sioux Falls was an extremely fun experience. I have to say that everyone from serious cyclers to just casual riders would love this bike.
Tickets are for sale from Luke Dreckman, Garrick Moritz, Kris Johnson and John Brinkman. Tickets are also available at Jesse James, the Garretson City offices, and Garretson Gazette (with additional downtown locations soon!).
If you’d like to buy some tickets, let one of us know . We plan to draw a winner once all tickets are sold, and we’re hoping it can be by Hometown Christmas or even sooner.
