Split Rock Park

Devil's Gulch

In the depths of the red quartzite canyons, a branch of the Split Rock Creek winds through an 18-foot gorge where, in 1876, Jesse James’ horse jumped and helped him escape the posse. Hiking, wildlife experiences, and meditation are only a few of the activities one can enjoy within this park.
