Dear Business Owners and Residents,

It is once again that time of year for Jesse James Days!  Traditionally the date for this event has been the third weekend in June.  This year the weekend falls on June 14, 15, & 16.  Garretson will be busy throughout the weekend with activities such as the annual parade and other family activities.

The Jesse James Days Parade will be held on Saturday, June 15th beginning at 11:00 am.

Parades are a great advertising source for local and regional businesses, and this one is no exception.  A few years ago we had close to 60 entries and the crowd was more than could be expected.  No doubt the good weather assisted, so hopefully we’ll luck out again this year with sunny skies.  There is no registration fee for this year’s parade, making it even easier to show off your products and/or services.  As you well know, Garretson is a growing and prospering community with young families.  A parade is a very simple and inexpensive means to market your business to these young families.

The Garretson Commercial Club assists in the organization and handling of the parade during Jesse James Days.  Our goal is to have 80 businesses participate this year within Garretson and its region that may serve citizens of Garretson.  The parade will take an estimated 1.5 hours from start to finish.

Sign in will begin at 9:30 am at 212 Center Ave (Zion Lutheran Church / Baseball field entrance).  We highly encourage your business to pre-register.
