The 18th Annual Garretson Commercial Club Golf Tournament at River Ridge Golf Course is fast approaching. The event will be held Friday, August 5th with a 10:00 am shotgun start. This will be a four-person scramble format with plenty of great prizes, gifts and cash games. A free meal will be provided after the tournament.
We are asking our Commercial Club members to gather a team for golfing fun. Please help support this upcoming event by asking your vendors for donations and gifts that will add value to this event and the Commercial Club. The net proceeds will be used by our organization to support local community events that we put on throughout the year in Garretson. For our convenience, please pre-register and pay before the day of the tournament. The entry fee is payable to the Garretson Commercial Club.
Hole-in-one prizes include a 2022 Chevrolet Trax from Papik Motors, Twelve dozen golf balls from Bridgestone Golf, a TravisMathew Premium Performance Package retail value of $1,200 and $900 credit to spend at Revo.com. A huge thank you goes out to Papik Motors, Inc for providing these prizes!
There are four different levels of participation that your business can provide to help this worthwhile fund raiser.
- 1. $100.00 Business Sponsorship. Check payable to Garretson Commercial Club. A laminated sign of your business will be made and placed around the course for best visual effect. Business sponsors will also be recognized at the award ceremony.
- 2. 4-person team signup. $40.00 entry fee for golf club members and $70.00 for non-members. This fee includes two free Mulligans per golfer. The checks are payable to the Garretson Commercial Club. This includes 18-hole green fee plus cart, an appetizing meal, door prizes and entry into an all-team skins game. Great Life memberships will not be recognized for this tournament.
If your business has a team in the tournament and is also sponsor we want to thank you with a discount in your Business Sponsorship fee ($50.00 instead of $100.00)
- 3. Door and pin prizes. Your business may consider donating nice door and pin prizes to award these valiant golf participants.
- 4. Volunteer help. There will be different contests and cash games at each hole so we will need around nine volunteers to help monitor them throughout the day.
Please print the registration form, mark “X” by one or more of the four participation levels, fill out the team members names if sponsoring a team, detach and return to John Brinkman % Garretson Commercial Club, Box 445, Garretson, SD 57030, ASAP because it should fill up fast or sign your team up at River Ridge Golf Club.
